i'm a sheep

i'm a sheep. i like meeting with other chrisitians in order to meet with them. i also like meeting with God together too. they encourage and stimulate my faith. then encourage me and spur me on. i learn things from people who know more than me. i like laughing singing and learning. i like sharing praying and growing. i can do these things on my own a bit, but i can do them with the odd visitors and i can do them with a regular gathering of like minded people. i like the security of knowing that in that gathering there are people who will keep and eye out for the manipulators and those who might take advantage for their own ends. for those who claim it's god talking but it doesn't add up. who will protect me. who will help put me in the right direction of good grass. basically i'm a sheep. i have no problems about being a sheep. i'm having to live as a fairly solitary sheep for health reasons but i'm not designed to function at my best like that. i can understand that sheep who have had harsh or careless shepherds will want to avoid flocks. maybe they've been bullied by other sheep (probably the goats) and it's a relief to be away from that flock. but that's the exception, not the rule.
